NOTE: Flag Day Celebration from Cavite and Independence Day from Luneta

published on our history books that the national independence began in kawit, cavite where the first philippine flag was raised sometime on 1898

but there's another celebration that commemorates our independence day
held every 28th may as kick-off to the actual independence day on 12th june

the town of alapan in imus, cavite leads the celebration of the national flag day

where it also commemorates the battle of alapan that's part of the philippine revolution on 1898

mobile singko segment of mon gualvez for good morning club was there to celebrate its 116th year!

the philippine indepence day celebration is traditionally held at rizal park or barasaoin church in bulacan,

pinaglabanan shrine in san juan and aguinaldo shrine in kawit, cavite

last year, we were at luneta park for the 115th philippine independence day celebration

but the main celebration was held at the liwasang bonifacio to honor andres bonifacio for his 150th birth year

and for this year, pnoy will commemorate the 116th philippine independence in naga city,

last february the main celebration of edsa people power was held at cebu and leyte
