merry christmas! yes! we're still officially on a christmas week! up until sunday!
but more than that, it's already 2017!!! and it does not feel a new year has emerged! how the year 2016 has sneaked up on us?!?
and since last week, there has been chock-full of some really pantastik get together with my prens for life!

the most recent one was last thursday! a christmas treat from balikbayan prens from qatar!
it's a get together party hosted by the lovely newlywed couple lino and beryl! they're back in town to celebrate christmas!
they've been away for more than 2 years, and they just got married last august
op cors! we haven't seen the two of them since then as well as some of the rest of the boys! our engineering boys! and some field producers too
i was also happy to see another newlywed couple of our group, nicole and francis libron!
i will never forget the invite that nicole wrote on my starbuxx planner, a year before their wedding date!
only to find out, months later that i had a prior booked a flight to guangzhou, china on their wedding day
and i was also happy that all of us remained to be good prens for life!
and i can't believe that i am the only one that remained working for tv5! nakakaloka!
our common ground is op cors! our shared history at tv5! and we've gone through a lot! in the course of 4 years that we've been working together!

on thursday night, we settled on a resto-bar somewhere in kyusi, near abs-cbn, i forgot the name
i arrived friday midnight! can i expound on that?, i live from the south! that's why!!! haha
averie, jaypee and robert were already drunk?!? while beryl passed on the microphone to those who wants to challenge her on videoke!
while sir emil, throughout the midnight was holding on his beer
and the rest of us sat around and chatted for few good hours, sharing laughter and all
and the singing?! it was thoroughly entertaining!!!
when nicole, francis and bryan left, shayna join us and we all stayed until passed midnight
and after that, i left for work, my calltime is 3am!
to beryl and lino, thank you por that special christmas treats! and see you soon!
and also it's nice to see you again shayna, nicole, francis and bryan!!! it's been a long while!
and also to my teddy bear, congratulations na lang in advance, pati na rin kay robert ken!
on wednesday night, i got to meet two of my dearest prens from college! for another christmas treats!
ashti alena or lady and rebex or cheska! were my seatmates in college, along with hey-ar!
we haven't seen each other for a long time! and i'm glad that we all made it! our long overdue coffee-chikahan!
i have to admit that this one was difficult to mount because i live in the south, and they both live from the northern part of kyusi!
the last time that we went out for a coffee-chikahan was in 2010!
and i knew that i have to make this work, because they were not able to join our christmas party last week
we spent the night at our peyborit tambayan ever since college! starbuxx sessions! until past thursday midnight!
ang dami namin na-drawing! hahaha i hope to see you again soon!
and lastly, for the biggest paandar of the year! cheers to our annual christmas party!
we've been celebrating christmas time together for a long time!

now that we're older! (sorry! ganun eh hahaha) this is the only time of the year that we manage to see each other!
although quite a few of us get together constantly for a quick coffee-chikahan or movie date
our christmas party also serves as our all-star cast, get together, that has become a tradition
it was held at madz's greenhills pad! she was also our chef for the night!
she has no other choice but to fulfill her long time promise that she'll cook for us!
that started sometime on 2014, when she posted on-line her own pasta, and so we challenged her!
but during our chrismas party of 2014 at her lovely place, no pasta was in sight! and instead, we ordered a pizza!!!
that's when we stated to have doubts on her cooking skills! hahaha
kidding aside, thank you madz for that christmas treats! for the effort and time!
i'm sorry that i cannot judge the cooking style, i have an awful taste bud eh! hahaha
meanwhile, this is also a special christmas treats for all of us,
because this is the first time in 9 years that my peyborit pren julius is in town celebrating christmas!
he used to spend christmas away from home, because his vacation break falls every june to july
last july, we spent our summer vacation in hong kong

while in hong kong, i remember i told him, i wish you could spend christmas in manila!
and i was actually surprised when he sent me a message that his coming home for christmas!
to my prens for life, we've been doing this christmas get together since college, and i wish to see you and spend more time with you this year!
i also have to say that we truly miss those prens that we have not seen for a long time!
and before things gets crazy over the next days! please allow me to greet all of you a merry christmas and happy 2017!!!
