it took me a while to get this published because a lot of things are happening right now

and i find it difficult to summarize my 2009 in few words

also, first post this year!

2009 signifies 9 important things that tied into my life, it was the year of great achievements, failures and many firsts!

9. NINE PEOPLE

if i had numerous encounters with you in the last 12 months from tambays, vacay, gimiks, movie dates, birthday celebrations, then you’re one of them!

thank you for first driving me crazy and second for just being there during the time that i need you the most

even i don’t mention names here you knew by heart its you!

so to you, to them, to everybody na lang thank you

April 1 | with ang tanging ina Ms. Ai-Ai De Las Alas at ABS-CBN Studios

May 13 | with Arnie, Adji, Ping at Starbuxx Mall of Asia Bay

June 28 | with Moty and Trix at Jollibee Makati

July 31 | with Rico Hizon at BBC Asia, Singapore

August 1 | at Merlion Park, Singpore

August 3 | with Clyde and mga ninong and ninang at TGIF Mall of Asia

. EIGHT CHALLENGES

health alert and awareness | there were medical tests (because of stress and over-fatigued)

at the start of the year i'm now more conscious and watchful, as they say health is wealth

loss and recovery | bittersweet to get out of my comfort zone,

but truth of the matter i got excited about other things in life that i wasn’t really excited about work that was at one point but now i wish i'll find my way soon

renewal | the construction project of our dream house started last year, we hope its completion by the end of the year, God willing

light and heavy | we survived bagyong ondoy and thankful that only few stuff were damaged

the least we could do is to reach out by donating some of our clothes, blankets, food,

and water to the victims. and of course the power of prayer in of itself really helps

detour and new directions | i wanted to change my career path, but it leads to the same path,

maybe because i am committed to that path, wherever, turning left or right i ended up taking U turns

7. SEVEN PERSONALITIES

i met, up-close seven well-known personalities that i admire!

i met the living legend eddie garcia and pinoy rock band icon ely buendia during a guesting on our show last year

and the one that i will always remember was the encounter i had with my idol christopher de leon seating next to me while watching ang panday

but no picture taking or autographs or whatsoever wag daw kame maging jologs sa Rockwell!


6. SIX LUXURIES

there were new possessions! few luxuries?! and are useful to everyday life, i had my new acer notebook and a sony psp slim plus dvd player and perfumes!


5. FIVE INAANAKS

last year i had 5 inaanaks, my notifications came in few days before the actual baptismal rights

kaya't naman there’s no chance for me to at least prepare and buy gifts and i apologize for that

except for baby clyde’s baptismal where i went straight from the airport to the reception! yes sa kainan na nga!

4. FOUR DESTINATIONS

my very first out-of-the-country trip last march where i’ve had to ask permission from my boss to allow me for a vacation leave for the first time!

it was a delight! and the highlight of the trip was the visit to disneyland

where we spent whole day walking around and meet and greet the disney characters and mickey mouse!

bon mentioned in his blog that he’s had memorable summer of 2009 yes i'm part of it!

our subic and zambales holy week getaway is one for the book and certainly will always be remembered

we visited pangasinan more than 4 times last year;

i call it a joyride to north, because we went over to different places via sctex to tarlac, clark, subic, rosales, urdaneta pangasinan

and of course visiting the shrine of our lady of Manaoag to say thank you to all the life blessings

June 28 | at Manaoag, Pangasinan

the singapore trip was an unexpected! we never had any plans of going there

i really don’t know how and why we’re able to get there and survived it

thank you kuya butchoi for providing help and assistance during our stay,

we also crossed malaysia for one day during that visit

our heartfelt thanks also goes to sir rico hizon, sir rene and his wife, mam myrna,

people from star world, to the uncles of singapore and kuya butchoi’s housemates


3. THREE CONCERTS

at least one concert a year is fine, but i got to see 3 concerts, in 3 different concert venues last year!

last february for the repeat concert of gary v. live! @ 25 in araneta coliseum

and then on september for the most anticipated martin nievera and gary valenciano as1 at the sm mall of asia grounds

and lastly the lea salonga, your songs concert at the picc pleanry hall

2. TWO CAREERS

i have embarked having two entirely different career path last year but ...

1. NUMBER ONE

there’s no way that i could have done it without God being there,

all the time and made everything possible,

i’ll use this as an inspiration to fulfill MORE this year
