still on a high from papal visit last week! did you know that the last papal visit here was exactly twenty years ago,
and there were other historical events that took place on january of 1995, that i won't soon forget
for the first time in asia, the philippines hosted the world youth day of 1995
where Pope John Paul II (now saint), visits manila for the second time since 1981
i wasn't born yet during his first visit
and on his second visit here in manila on 1995, i must have been 9 or 10 then,
i remember it so well, we're one of those who waved and cheered for the pope at roxas blvd.

abs-cbn did not renew the blocktime partnership between eat... bulaga! producers
simply because, at that time, they're putting up their own noontime variety show
eat...bulaga! had no choice but to move to another station, for the third time since 1979
television and production exponents inc., the producer of eat... bulaga! headed by mr. antonio tuviera
signed contract with gma-7 along with other tape inc. produced programs, okey ka fairy ko and valiente
with a grand celebration to welcome them live from araneta coliseum
today eat...bulaga! remains to be the undisputed number one noontime show on tv!
and the longest-running one in the land and in the universe
